Our Why
Our “why” comes down to two things: love for God and love for people. Because “God is love” (1 John 4:8), our longing to see His Kingdom saturate Guadalupe is ultimately a longing for His love to be fully experienced throughout our community. We have encountered His extravagant love through Jesus, and that love awakens and fuels our love for Him. As we grow in love for Jesus, we long to see His Kingdom flourish and His glory shine throughout Guadalupe.
Our Who
We are primarily called to serve the people of Guadalupe and the broader relational community connected to it, recognizing that the bonds of family, friendship, and shared life often reach beyond the town itself. Within this calling, we have a particular heart for the poor and marginalized—those who have too often been overlooked, forgotten, or pushed to the edges of society.
Our What
We are focused on the holistic advancement of God's Kingdom within our community, desiring every aspect of life in Guadalupe to be touched and transformed by His reign. This is expressed as ordinary followers of Jesus discover their part in God’s mission, take ownership of it, and live it out in their everyday lives.
Our Where
With our focus on Guadalupe—serving Guadalupanos and those connected to them—we want our lives and work to be deeply rooted in the community itself. Rather than centering our work around a building, we choose to gather in homes, public spaces, neighborhoods, and the everyday places where life happens. Whether forming spiritual families or joining God in Kingdom work, we prioritize being present among the community rather than confined within four walls.
Our When
Our focus is twofold: we are fully present and grateful for what God is doing among us right now, while also being guided by a future vision of seeing God’s kingdom saturate Guadalupe. We hold both together — rooted in today, moving toward tomorrow.
