Our heart

We are committed to being a living expression of God’s love and reflection of His glory in Guadalupe and beyond. As humble servants, we are shaped by prayer, led by the Holy Spirit, and devoted to loving and empowering people in our community.

The 5 W’s

Every story becomes clearer through the five W’s—who, what, when, where, and why. Here’s what that looks like for Love Guad.

  • Our “why” comes down to two things: love for God and love for people. A passionate love for Jesus drives us to see His Kingdom thrive and His glory shine in Guadalupe. From that love, we follow His example by loving people unconditionally. Everything we do flows from these loves.

  • We are primarily called to serve those in and connected to the community of Guadalupe. The relational networks of Guadalupe extend far beyond the town’s boundaries, and we are committed to serving both those within Guadalupe and those connected to it beyond those limits. Within this mandate, we also feel a distinct call to the poor and marginalized—those who have been overlooked or forgotten.

  • We are focused on the holistic advancement of God’s Kingdom within this community, desiring every aspect of life in Guadalupe to be touched and transformed by His reign. This is expressed primarily through spiritual families gathered as simple churches and through missional initiatives that release His love, justice, and transformation into specific areas of engagement within the community.

  • With our focus on the community of Guadalupe—serving Guadalupanos and those connected to them—we are committed to engaging most of our work within the community itself. Rather than relying on a central building, we choose to meet in homes, public spaces, and everyday places. Whether gathering as spiritual families or engaging in Kingdom work, we prioritize being present in the community rather than confined to four walls.

  • Our focus is twofold: we are fully present and grateful for what God is doing among us right now, while also being guided by a future vision of a growing network of simple churches and missional initiatives that fill our community with His glory.

And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

- Jesus (Mark 12:30-31 NKJV)
